Change of use from a hotel to a residential building in Sachtouri street.

Galaxy explores the transition from the temporality of hospitality to the permanence of dwelling, transforming the former “Galaxias”hotel into a conteporary system of living. The existing  shell operates as a carrier of memory, reinterpreted through its new use.

The proposal is structured around the idea of a “galaxy”: a constellation of autonomous residential units interconnected through shared spaces, balancing privacy and collectivity. Through precise interventions, old and new coexist, forming a layered and continuous living experience.
