Reconstruction and Extension of a Coastal Residence

The project involves the complete reconstruction of an existing coastal residence, complemented by the addition of a new upper floor that redefines the relationship between the house and its surrounding landscape. The design is conceived around the sea view, creating carefully framed vistas and long visual perspectives that extend the interior spaces towards the horizon.

The architectural approach seeks to establish a seamless dialogue between the residence and its coastal setting. Natural materials, earthy tones and tactile surfaces are used throughout to create a warm, timeless character that responds to the landscape rather than competing with it. Generous openings, terraces and carefully positioned outdoor spaces strengthen the connection between interior and exterior, allowing the view to become an integral part of the architectural experience.

The new volume is designed with a restrained architectural language, balancing contemporary clarity with the natural character of the site. Light, materiality and the continuous visual connection to the sea become the defining elements of the residence, creating a calm and enduring retreat shaped by its relationship with the landscape.
